CES before the storm: booths in progress, acrobats, and a septocopter

Monday at CES was filled with plenty of excitement—at least 21 stories worth in fact. Gabe Newell and Valve let the world see its 13 different Steam Machines. Huawei began its pursuit of the US market with a gigantic phablet. And Linksys stole our hearts by reviving the old school blue router.

It’s a lot to keep track of (trust us, we know) and somehow it all happens before the opening keynote. So for a quick recap of today’s “pre-show” highlights, we’ve compiled some of our favorite images for a quick visual tour of a typical CES Monday.
