At its CES keynote address (still ongoing) Monday evening, Intel announced a host of smart wearable and home devices, including smart earbuds, a new headset (dubbed “Jarvis”), a wireless “charging bowl,” and a smartwatch. However, the company did not immediately specify whether Intel was making these devices itself or simply creating the chips powering them. (We assume it’s the latter.)
Jarvis appears to be designed very similar to an ear-wrap Bluetooth-type headset with voice recognition.
“The system will work with any existing personal systems,” said Brian Krzanich, Intel’s CEO. “It’s seamless, no buttons, low power.”
